Meet Patrick R. Friend, DDS
Dr. Patrick Friend was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky and raised in Fresno, California. He attended University of California at Irvine for his undergraduate career, and then went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Southern California. Dr. Friend completed a one-year oral surgery internship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and his residency training at University of Miami.
These programs had a clinical focus on trauma surgery, orthognathic surgery, pathology, and reconstructive surgery as well as adult and pediatric anesthesia. During his chief year Dr. Friend received the Outstanding Surgical Skills award. Dr. Friend comes to us from Fairfax, VA, and has served as one of the team oral surgeons for several professional sports teams. Dr. Friend joined the Greenville Oral Surgery group in 2021 and sees patients at both the Duncan and Powdersville locations.
