Meet James C. Wilson, DMD
Dr. James C. Wilson, a native of South Carolina, attended Wofford College in Spartanburg where he received his B.S. in Biology in 1988. He then attended the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine from 1988 to 1992 where he received his D.M.D. degree. He completed a one-year internship at Carolina’s Medical Center Department of Dentistry in Charlotte North Carolina, and upon completion of his internship, he returned to Charleston to finish his formal oral surgery training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Dr. Wilson then entered into private practice of oral and maxillofacial surgery in Greenville South Carolina in 1997, when he opened the first location of what is now Greenville Oral Surgery Partners. Dr. Wilson currently resides in Greenville with his wife, Dr. Robin Wilson, who is a pediatric dentist, along with their two daughters, Blakely and Riley.
Outside of work he loves spending time with friends and family, all things Clemson football, and hanging out with his very best furry friend, Hunter.
Professional Organizations
Dr. James C. Wilson is currently a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Wilson also is a diplomat of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and he is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as the American Dental Association.
